At Good Shepherd School, we take pride in nurturing young minds within the enriching framework of Catholic values. Our kindergarten program is intentionally crafted to provide a strong foundation for academic excellence while embracing diverse learning styles. Beyond academics, we are dedicated to fostering virtues that go hand-in-hand with our faith-based approach, instilling a sense of character, compassion, and moral responsibility in our students. At Good Shepherd, we believe that education is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about building a foundation that lasts a lifetime, and our kindergarten program is designed to do just that – shaping well-rounded individuals with a love for learning and a commitment to virtuous living.
Our Kindergarten class is a full-day program from 8:30 a.m. – 3:10 p.m. This allows for extended study of academic subjects, along with time for social interaction, outdoor play, field trips, dramatic play, and relaxation.
We offer a strong values-centered Kindergarten curriculum. Children participate in music, physical education, computer, Spanish, art, religion, a literature-based reading program, and a hands-on math curriculum.
